The following describes some of my earlier experience in producing and project management
in developing training products for the web and CD-ROM:
Producer, Executive Producer, wilweb.com
 

Supervised all producers, with overall responsibility for all development projects.
Produced electronic corporate training course, The Counselor/Sales Person.
Produced sales training product, WebDesk, for Sun Microsystems, which won a Silver Invision Award for best web corporate training.
Executive Producer, Morgan Interactive, Inc.
  Responsible for CD-ROM production, overseeing more than 75 production personnel and offshore studio and client relations with Harper Kids, Fox Interactive, Simon and Schuster Interactive, and Virgin Sound and Vision. Concurrently managed numerous other contract projects.
  Produced award winning title, Get Ready for School, Charlie Brown! CD-ROM, on time and for 50% of budget. Managed staff of 13 in-house production personnel, as well as outside contractors for writing, sound design, interface design, and animation.
Project Manager, Timestream, Inc.
  Managed the production of CD-ROM, Multimedia: Making It Work, based on Osborne-McGraw Hill book by industry expert Tay Vaughan. Supervised video specialist, sound specialist, content expert, lingo programmer, and editor/writer. Also responsible for new content acquisition.
 
Freelance Producer, Web-based Products
 
Wilson Learning Corp.
  Produced corporate training product, Talent Management System, which was designed for client delivery via an ASP. Managed project from New Mexico for Minnesota-based client, supervising a team of wilweb.com staff including California-based graphic design and instructional design contractors.
   
Adept, Inc.
  Project manager charged with evaluating the production process for Adept Driver's teenSMART, a national interactive driving safety program for teens. Recommended overhaul of the production company; thereafter, the project proceeded smoothly to the client's satisfaction. Created master production schedules and long-range budgets, approved all contractor invoicing, and generally advised client on proper approach to achieve the highest quality product within the available budget and schedule.
   
Porcupine, Inc.
  Managed production budgets for startup merger of two multimedia companies. Developed scheduling system for 10 project teams in three cities over two years. Initiated research and developed support from state and community educators, government officials, and doctors to produce a CD-ROM about violence prevention. Worked with content holders to develop other commercial titles ready for production. Helped develop business and marketing plans for new corporation.
