I spent
most of my life in the San Francisco Bay Area, moving to Taos, New Mexico,
in 2001. Besides shooting subjects that capture the spirit and light of
this beautiful region, I like to travel to my favorite destinations in
the West and around the country.
I started shooting 35mm in 1980 doing underwater and topside production
stills for Al Giddings, when I worked as his producer and business associate.
My years of managing his film, video, and still photography library and
producing roles on feature films, documentaries, and TV commercials was
instrumental in developing my sense of color and perfection in capturing
high quality images.
My current passion in photography is shooting for art prints, stock and
assignment work, especially in the wide panoramic format. I find the panoramic
format very challenging to shoot and visually stimulating as it more closely
represents what our field of vision sees.
If my stock archive doesn't include images you are looking for, contact
me to see if I might have something that isn't in the archive yet.
If you would like to order a print or discuss an assignment please contact
